Kalianda, Jum’at, 13 September 2024 — SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda hari ini mengadakan workshop yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi peserta didik dan efisiensi administrasi sekolah. Workshop ini meliputi dua topik utama: Pembelajaran TEFA (Teaching Factory) dan Penyusunan Administrasi BLUD (Badan Layanan Umum Daerah). peserta workshop ini terdiri dari guru IPAS, Guru Produktif dan Guru Informatika.
Pembelajaran TEFA: Menghadapi Dunia Kerja dengan Keterampilan Nyata
Workshop Pembelajaran TEFA diadakan untuk mempersiapkan peserta didik dengan keterampilan praktis yang relevan dengan kebutuhan industri. TEFA, atau Teaching Factory, adalah sarana produksi yang beroperasi sesuai dengan prosedur dan standar kerja yang sesungguhnya. Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk menghasilkan produk yang sesuai dengan kondisi nyata dunia kerja tanpa berorientasi pada keuntungan. Dengan adanya program ini, siswa diharapkan dapat memahami proses produksi yang sebenarnya dan mendapatkan pengalaman praktis yang akan berguna dalam dunia kerja.
Dr. Rudi Santoso, Kepala SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda, menjelaskan, “Dengan mengimplementasikan TEFA, kami tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan teoritis tetapi juga keterampilan praktis kepada siswa kami. Ini adalah langkah besar menuju penciptaan lulusan yang siap menghadapi tantangan di industri.”
Penyusunan Administrasi BLUD: Meningkatkan Efisiensi Layanan Publik
Selain TEFA, workshop ini juga membahas penyusunan administrasi BLUD, yang merupakan unit kerja pada satuan kerja perangkat daerah di lingkungan pemerintah daerah provinsi. BLUD dibentuk untuk memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat, terutama peserta didik, dalam bentuk barang atau jasa tanpa mengutamakan keuntungan.
Mendalamnya pembahasan tentang administrasi BLUD bertujuan untuk meningkatkan transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan anggaran serta pelayanan publik di lingkungan sekolah. Narasumber dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan turut hadir untuk memberikan pemahaman lebih dalam tentang regulasi dan praktik terbaik dalam penyusunan administrasi BLUD.
“Penyusunan administrasi yang baik sangat penting untuk memastikan bahwa layanan yang diberikan kepada masyarakat dapat berjalan dengan efektif dan efisien. Melalui workshop ini, kami berharap staf dan manajemen kami dapat lebih memahami dan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip BLUD dengan lebih baik,” tambah Dr. Santoso.

Dengan dilaksanakannya workshop ini, SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda berharap dapat mencetak lulusan yang tidak hanya siap kerja tetapi juga memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang administrasi publik. Ini merupakan bagian dari upaya berkelanjutan sekolah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan layanan yang diberikan kepada peserta didik dan masyarakat.
