Kalianda, 9 September 2024 – SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda menggelar acara pelantikan komandan batalyon dan pelantikan calon taruna menjadi taruna resmi, Acara ini menjadi momen bersejarah bagi seluruh warga sekolah, terutama bagi Arispal, siswa kelas XI TKR 2, yang terpilih dan resmi dilantik sebagai Komandan Batalyon SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda.
Pelantikan Arispal sebagai komandan batalyon disambut dengan penuh semangat dan antusiasme oleh seluruh taruna dan taruni SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda. Dalam upacara tersebut,
Selain pelantikan Komandan Batalyon, acara ini juga sekaligus menjadi ajang pelantikan calon taruna kelas X yang telah mengikuti Latihan Dasar Disiplin Korps (LDDK) dan Pembaretan Angkatan III SMKN 2 Kalianda. Para calon taruna yang telah berhasil menyelesaikan LDDK dengan penuh disiplin dan tanggung jawab kini resmi menjadi taruna SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda.
Prosesi pembaretan dilakukan dengan khidmat di lapangan sekolah dan disaksikan oleh seluruh warga sekolah, guru, karyawan dan peserta didik . Pembaretan ini menjadi simbol penting bagi para siswa kelas X yang kini telah resmi bergabung dalam korps taruna SMKN 2 Kalianda.
Kepala SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda, dalam sambutannya, memberikan apresiasi yang tinggi kepada seluruh taruna yang telah mengikuti LDDK dengan disiplin. Beliau juga mengucapkan selamat kepada Arispal atas pelantikannya sebagai komandan batalyon dan berharap seluruh taruna dapat terus menjaga disiplin dan semangat juang mereka dalam menempuh pendidikan di SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda.
Acara pelantikan ini diakhiri dengan foto bersama dan tepuk tangan meriah dari seluruh hadirin, menandai babak baru dalam perjalanan para taruna di SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda.
