KALIANDA – Siswa Pecinta Alam (SISPALA) SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda berhasil meraih prestasi gemilang dengan memenangkan juara 2 dalam ajang bergengsi Lomba Lintas Alam Poltapala se-Sumbagsel ke- XII. Kompetisi ini diselenggarakan oleh Politeknik Negeri Lampung pada Jumat hingga Sabtu, 31 Agustus hingga 01 September 2024.
Lomba lintas alam ini diikuti oleh berbagai tim dari seluruh wilayah Sumatera Bagian Selatan, yang terdiri dari berbagai sekolah menengah dan perguruan tinggi. Para peserta ditantang untuk menaklukkan rute yang penuh tantangan dan menunjukkan kemampuan navigasi, fisik, dan kerja sama tim yang solid.
Dalam ajang ini, tim SISPALA SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda menunjukkan kemampuan luar biasa dalam menghadapi berbagai rintangan alam yang disiapkan oleh panitia. Keberhasilan mereka meraih posisi kedua tidak hanya membanggakan sekolah, tetapi juga menjadi inspirasi bagi siswa-siswa lain untuk aktif dalam kegiatan alam dan lingkungan.
Kepala SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda, dalam sambutannya, mengucapkan selamat kepada para siswa yang telah berjuang keras dan berhasil mengharumkan nama sekolah di tingkat regional. Beliau juga berharap prestasi ini dapat menjadi motivasi untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas dan partisipasi dalam berbagai kegiatan ekstrakurikuler lainnya.
Dengan pencapaian ini, SISPALA SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda semakin memperkokoh reputasinya sebagai salah satu kelompok pecinta alam yang berprestasi di wilayah Sumbagsel.
