Kalianda, 04 September 2024 – SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda terus berupaya memperkuat peranannya dalam mempersiapkan lulusannya untuk memasuki dunia kerja dengan mengadakan Workshop Penguatan Kelembagaan Bursa Kerja Khusus (BKK). Kegiatan ini digelar pada hari Rabu, 04 September 2024 di Aula SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda, dihadiri oleh para guru dan siswa SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda.
Workshop ini menghadirkan dua narasumber yang ahli di bidangnya. Pemateri pertama, Bapak Gimbar Ombai Herlawarnana, S.IP., M.Si, yang merupakan Kepala Balai Pelayanan Pelindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (BP3MI) Lampung, menyampaikan pentingnya peran BKK dalam mempersiapkan siswa SMK untuk bersaing di pasar kerja global. Beliau juga menguraikan langkah-langkah strategis yang dapat diambil oleh BKK dalam memfasilitasi lulusan SMK agar dapat terserap di pasar tenaga kerja, baik di dalam maupun luar negeri.
Pemateri kedua, Bapak Suryono, S.E., M.M, dari Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Lampung Selatan, memberikan wawasan mengenai sinergi antara dunia pendidikan dan pemerintah daerah dalam menciptakan peluang kerja bagi lulusan SMK. Beliau juga membahas tentang kebijakan-kebijakan terbaru yang mendukung pengembangan Bursa Kerja Khusus dan menjelaskan berbagai peluang kerja yang tersedia di wilayah Lampung Selatan.
Kepala SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda dalam sambutannya menyampaikan apresiasi kepada seluruh pihak yang terlibat dalam penyelenggaraan workshop ini. Beliau menekankan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari program SMK Pusat Keunggulan, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya saing lulusan SMK di dunia kerja. Dengan penguatan kelembagaan BKK, diharapkan para lulusan SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda dapat lebih siap menghadapi tantangan di dunia industri dan memiliki akses yang lebih luas terhadap peluang kerja.
