Bandar Lampung , Minggu 4 Agustus 2024, Kepala Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Provinsi Lampung, Sulpakar terpilih sebagai ketua PGRI Lampung masa bakti 2024-2029, Minggu, 4 Agustus 2024.
Dalam Konferensi Provinsi PGRI XV itu, Sulpakar meraih suara sebanyak 248. Sementara kandidat lainnya, Joko Sutrisno hanya memperoleh 45 suara.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Sulpakar menyampaikan terima kasih kepada seluruh anggota atas amanah tersebut. Ia berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Provinsi Lampung.
“Saya mengajak semua guru khususnya yang tergabung dalam PGRI untuk bergerak bersama meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Lampung,” ungkapnya.
Pendidikan menjadi salah satu pondasi dalam membangun bangsa. Sehingga kualitas pendidikan mesti menjadi perhatian untuk meningkatkan kualitas SDM.
Menurutnya, kemajuan teknologi informasi merupakan tantangan bagi para pengajar. Untuk itu, para guru harus bisa memanfaatkan hal tersebut untuk terus meningkatkan mutu pendidikan.
“Guru harus bisa beradaptasi dan mengoptimalisasi kemajuan teknologi informasi untuk kepentingan pendidikan,” ujarnya.
Dukung Program
Sementara itu, Sekjen PB PGRI, Dudung Abdul Qadir menyampaikan, PGRI harus turut mendukung program pengurus provinsi. Dengan begitu menurutnya, Lampung akan mampu menjadi lokomotif kemajuan PGRI secara nasional.
Ia juga mengingatkan, PGRI harus bisa berkolaborasi dengan instansi pemerintah. Dengan kerja sama yang baik, maka menurutnya PGRI akan bisa terus tumbuh menjadi lebih baik.
“Saya yakin dibawah kepemimpinan Pak Sulpakar, PGRI Lampung menjadi lebih baik, terlebih jika didukung dengan pengurus kabupaten kota,” ucapnya.
Dudung juga menambahkan, PGRI harus bisa membawa anggotanya untuk beradaptasi dengan perubahan zaman. Kemajuan teknologi informasi harus bisa pengurus optimalkan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan mutu pendidikan
