Kalianda, 21 Agustus 2024 – Sebanyak 13 kelas dari berbagai jurusan di SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda mengunjungi Job Fair 2024 yang diselenggarakan oleh Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Kegiatan ini berlangsung pada hari ini, dan para siswa tampak antusias mengikuti acara yang diadakan di GOR Way Handak Lampung Selatan.
Dalam kunjungan tersebut, setiap kelas didampingi oleh satu guru yang bertanggung jawab untuk memantau dan membimbing siswa-siswi selama acara berlangsung. Job Fair ini diikuti oleh berbagai perusahaan dari sektor industri, perdagangan, dan jasa yang membuka kesempatan magang dan lowongan pekerjaan bagi para lulusan SMK.
Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kesiswaan Bapak DR. Feriyansyah, .M.Pd, menyampaikan bahwa kunjungan ini merupakan bagian dari upaya sekolah dalam mempersiapkan siswa-siswinya menghadapi dunia kerja. “Kami ingin para siswa mengenal lebih dekat industri dan kesempatan kerja yang ada. Ini juga menjadi ajang bagi mereka untuk memahami kualifikasi yang dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan-perusahaan,” ujar Bapak Feriyansyah.
Salah satu siswa, Mahardika, yang merupakan peserta dari jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ), mengungkapkan kegembiraannya dapat berpartisipasi dalam acara ini. “Kami jadi tahu bagaimana proses melamar kerja dan apa saja yang diinginkan oleh perusahaan. Ini pengalaman yang sangat berharga,” kata Mahardika.
Job Fair ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan dan pengalaman baru bagi para siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Kalianda, serta membuka peluang untuk masa depan mereka dalam dunia kerja
